Big Grin

Dassiesfontein

This cache is on the N2 between Caledon and Botrivier.

I have been here before on one of ROVRat's rides when we had the RLT Bash at Salmonsdam.

The hint says: A prototype for the modern washing machine before the days of electricity.

I wonder what that could be? Scratch

This cache had familiar faces in it! Martin and Carolyn. Wave

Easy find and lekker padkos at this stall. Big Grin This is also where I dropped Vian Racer.

Take a Break

The cache is situated at a rest stop along the N2 highway between Caledon and Riversonderend.

I searched high and low but could not find it anywhere. Bang Head

Why do caches always involve climbing? Smile

I logged a "Did not Find" so the next day the cache owner went and found it safe and sound. I guess I'll just have to try again. Roll Eyes

Riviersonderend's First Cache

Many people take a stop at the local gas station because, well, there aren't that many around here when driving along the N2.
The stash is hidden about 100m behind it (street, no bushes).

The co-ords take you here:

The hint: Stand with your back to 'danger', take two steps forward en five steps left.

Easy find Cool

TF23 Infinity

The cache is located on a bridge over a river that never ends just off the N2. I've been here before with Rooipoot. Cool

The hint says: UP-stream, lean out and look up. It is held to the bridge with a magnet and is a film cannister (black with grey lid).

I searched both sides end to end and found nothing. Undecided

The views from the bridge are nice though.

ok dan:

SPOILER in fine print!!
